I was discussing the Academy Hill community with an appraiser on-site the other day, and she pointed out that Academy Hill is unique in her experience, and to new construction neighborhoods overall because of the relative lack of re-sales of homes by the original owners. We sat down to look over the history of sales in the development, and found that the only actual re-sale in the last 2.5 years since our launch, resulted from a couple who had to move for a job relocation, only three months after the purchase of their customized, new home. I recall that they were very disappointed to have to move, which is understandable, considering the level of customization and buyer-feedback that went into the design and construction of their home.

This lack of re-sales or efforts to re-sell at Academy Hill could certainly indicate a high level of satisfaction with the Academy Hill neighborhood and surrounding community!
